Rob McNurlin is a very cool guy, a great artist that I met @ Woodyfest five years ago, though we had communicated via cyber space over the years before that about his various Buffalo Skinner recordings that he'd made sure local community radio station WMPG here in Portland, Maine had some for the library, he calls himself a hillbilly, country artist, cowboy musician, yeah he does that with gospel, blues, folk and soul . You might of heard of him opening for the likes of Hot Tuna around the country or other for or with other acts. He's the real deal and if you're near Ashland he's sure to put on a great show. One of the coolest aspects of hosting a show is hanging out with artists like Rob McNurlin.
